The third of nine proposed anthropomorphizations of Team Fortress 2's zany characters, this one's of the oft underestimated engineer.
Though you might not think it at a glance, this weedy little fellow, armed only with a shotgun, handgun, and his trusty wrench, is one of the most valuable classes in the game.
Bringing his mechanical genius to bear on the battlefield, the engineer can construct dispensers to resupply and heal his allies, teleporters to whisk them into battle, and vigilant sentry guns to harass and decimate the enemy, denying them critical areas and intelligence.
My favorite class and the one I spend the most time as (besides the Medic ironically.) Needless to say, I like this.

Team Fortress 2 is sort of a multiplayer-only first person shooter game. There are two teams, RED and BLU (red and blue colored, respectively) constantly trying to capture objectives, sieze intelligence, and bomb each other.
There are 9 character classes that members on each team can choose from. Each has advantages and disadvantages- some are offense oriented, others defense oriented, and others support oriented. Guys like the engineer are defense oriented, only really powerful when they have a chance to hunker down and build a sentry gun. Classes like the spy are good for support and infiltration, breaking up an enemy's concentration, while heavies can soak up and dole out tons of damage, especially in close quarters.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
