Won't someone think of the children?!

Let's face it, we can't exactly ban guns now. I mean, have you seen some of the new designs? Too cool. Stamped metal and composites never looked so sexy.

Sadly, our society is still haunted by the spectre of the crossbow- and now is a better time than ever to ban it! I mean, how can we trust each other with such potentially deadly implements? Someone could get hurt! Won't someone think of the children?!

Write your congressman today. Preferably by e-mail. They need to practice their emoticons, particularly that kooky laughing one.

yeah. Someone can go in a school fully loaded with handgun, silencer without problem. But a crossbow? No! it's more dangerous....

Seriously, weapon related, the USA are just sick. And people wonder why there's that many recurrent shooting.

Well, the problem with the crossbow is that it is compariatively more silent. It's a perfect weapon for wannabe hitmen and... yeah, banning it won't solve a lot of problems.

The kings of Europe tried fruitlessly to do so back when the crossbow was a new thing, but that was mainly for military and not for public wellness reasons.
